Jordan is a Producer / Engineer and Mastering Engineer with work including four ARIA award-winning albums and over a dozen ARIA top ten releases. Jordan took home a Golden Guitar at the Tamworth Country Music Awards for producing and mixing Kasey Chambers 2019 album Campfire. His recent work includes Troy Cassar-Daley, Laura Frank, Calypso Cora, Birren, Sean Koch, MT WARNING and Dope Lemon.
With a strong emphasis on mastering also, over the past 5 years, Jordan has worked alongside a range of talented artists, including The Rayes, Bec Sykes, Davey Lane, The Sea Benz, Alana Wilkinson.
After graduating from audio engineering studies in 2006, Jordan was snapped up by Studios 301 in Sydney, kicking off his career as Assistant Engineer. In this time he gained experience working on sessions for Bruce Springsteen’s US#1 High Hopes, Lady Gaga’s 3-time Grammy-nominated and 2-time US Platinum Born This Way, and Powderfinger’s ARIA winning Golden Rule.
Jordan quickly rose through the ranks and became a go-to engineer at the Sydney studio, ultimately capitalising on this growth and setting himself up at Studio 301’s Byron Bay complex in 2011. From there, he proceeded to split his time between 301 in Byron Bay and Sydney, where he engineered records for Angus & Julia Stone, The Living End, Karnivool and Xavier Rudd. In 2012, Jordan also took up a position managing the studio at Corona’s La Casa Artist Residency, where he engineered for The Temper Trap, Alpine, MSMR and Liam Finn.
2013 saw Jordan establish his own facility, Inky Studios, in the Arts & Industrial area of Byron Bay. He has since recorded, mixed or produced for artists like Xavier Rudd, Dope Lemon, Miniskirt, Kasey Chambers, Skegss, Ben Gillies, MT Warning, Bobby Alu and The Starboard Cannons.
Jordan now works out of the stunning Brooklet Studios, nestled in Byron Bay’s hinterland, looking north-west over a beautiful landscape to the Wollumbin and Nighcap National Parks.
